Redesigned this season with a new thicker base plate! This is a really nice iron at a great price! The temprature can be set from 100F to 260F. Additional features are the temperature dial, heel rest, control light and an 8 foot power cord.

Maybe I Got Lucky?
Unlike another review on here, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase (maybe they got a faulty one?). As a matter of fact, I've had this iron for about 7 years, going on 8. I've used it multiple times a season, with about a 6-7mo storage time in between. It's never failed to heat up or maintain temperature. For the price, you absolutely can't beat it. If they're still making them like they used to 7 years ago, I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone. I should mention I don't do any serious racing. I'm just a recreational freecarver on an alpine board, but it suits my needs just great!

Piece of JUNK!
This iron is a piece of JUNK! It would not heat up and would not melt the wax. Waste of money! Went in the garbage.
