A racer travels with more than most skiers: two pairs of skis, boots, a suit, armour, poles and a tuning kit. The bags below are organised by what you need to move.

Ski bags split by capacity — single and double for one athlete, burrito bags that wrap two or three pairs with padding, and roller bags when you are walking through an airport rather than to a lift.

Gear bags and backpacks carry boots, helmet and armour. A boot backpack that holds a helmet without crushing it is worth paying for; so is a heated bag if you regularly start the day with cold boots.
