Nordica Race Skis

Nordica race skis, including the Dobermann line. As with any race ski, the choice is bounded by the rules before preference comes into it.

Length, radius and profile width all carry minimums and maximums by age class and discipline — a U16 GS ski must be at least 17 m radius and no more than 188 cm, and speed events differ again. Stand height is capped at 50 mm for ski, plate and binding combined.

Within those bounds, match the construction to the athlete's weight and strength rather than their ambition. A ski too stiff to bend will not turn for them.
