Since mid-2020, ski wax manufacturers have been confronted with strict regulations regarding the use of fluorinated substances. Holmenkol’s racing team is constantly busy testing the raw material compositions in practice - on snow - in order to optimize the products. Every single product has to be convincing in different snow and weather conditions before it can bear the “license to win” seal. As part of the Syntec project, Holmenkol has been researching fluorine-free formulation alternatives for years.
- BLU - snow temperatures from -12° to -20°C (Coarse and Aggressive Snow)
- RED- snow temperatures from -6 to -12 C (All Conditions)
- YLW - snow temperatures from 0 ° to -6 ° C (Fine to Coarse and Wet Snow)
Put the liquid on the base, spread evenly with fibercloth. Let sit for as long as you can, but at least 20 minutes, and roto fleece or roto wool buff in and then brush out with stiff nylon or horsehair brush.
