Alpine Ski Tap Tin Coated

Standard alpine tap for use with metal top sheet skis.  When mounting a ski with a metal top sheet it is also a good idea to tap the hole afterwards.  This will help prevent the dreaded "VOLCANOING" and allow the screw to thread pas the metal top sheet easier and not ruin the threads.  This tap also features a T.I.N coating.  T.I.N. is a gold colored coating that increases the hardness of a regular high speed drill from Rockwell 62 standard to Rockwell 82. It also increases the lubricity by 35%, giving a much smoother, cooler running drill. The bottom line is that the life and sharpness of the drill is easily doubled
