Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

It's easy to perform a return requset through race-werks.com.  Just log in to your account and click on the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu then click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Please be aware of the following return conditions;

All returns, excluding defective products, must be en-route back to our warehouse within 30 days from date of receipt. Defective products must be returned within the time constraints imposed by that particular product manufacturer’s warranty.

In order to receive full credit, all non-warranty returns must be in pristine condition, unused, clean without being laundered, free from smelling of smoke, pets and/or perfume or cologne, in original condition and in original, undamaged packaging WITH ALL TAGS ATTACHED. Returns not meeting these criteria are subject to refusal and/or restocking fees to be determined at the discretion of Race Werks.

Restocking fees are determined on an order by order basis and are a function of product condition, packaging condition and timing of return.

Return shipping fees are the customer's responsibility. We strongly recommend insuring all returns. Please retain a copy of the return tracking number until credit or exchange has been completed and verified.

Orders that have been refused or were not able to be delivered to recipient will be refunded the product amount less all shipping charges associated with said order.

Some Returns May Void Free Shipping

If you took advantage of a free shipping offer based on your order total and a product return results on a net order total less than that required for the free shipping offer, corresponding shipping charges will be deducted from the product refund. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).


Domestic Shipping

Most orders ship within 2 business days. All U.S. orders ship via Fed-Ex, UPS or Postal Service depending on the contents and destination. Rush shipping is available for most products to most locations.

For Overnight or 2nd Day services, order must be placed before 12:00 pm Mountain Standard Time. Rush orders placed after 12:00 pm Mountain Standard Time will ship the following day.

Shipping will not be refunded on refused orders and customer is responsible for return shipping fees.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

International Shipping

Depending on the method of shipment you choose, there may be charges in addition to the shipping charge assessed at the time of checkout.  Customer is responsible for all brokerage fees, tariffs, import duties, Value added Taxes (VAT) and customs imposed by the country of destination. These charges are not indicated on in your shipping quote  and must be determined by the purchaser. A list of countries we ship to may be found here

International Returns

If you are returning products to Race Werks from a country outside The United States, there may be additional fees billed to the recipient (us) commonly referred to as entry preparation fees associated with your return.  If this is the case, all additional fees including entry preparation fees will be the customer's responsibility and those fees will be deducted from the amount of your product refund.
