Product Description
Riser Plate Cant 1°,1.5°,2°,3° (one toe,one heel).
SVST has put together a boot sole canting, elevating and repair system. Whether you’re canting for proper ergonomics or the boot needs to be restored to DIN due to excessive wear these very true, durable, easily sanded and temperature resistant soles will get the job done. These are designed to work with most plug style boots. The canted plates are 5mm thick in the center of the plate which makes them stronger and more precise than any other plate on the market. With flat 4mm or 6mm plates as well as cants 1°, 1.5°, 2° or 3° marked left and right (with left side high and right side high looking from the toe to heel) these plates will accommodate the needs of just about any boot.
These canted plates are sold as a set, one toe and one heel, all plates come with mounting screws.
Dont forget to ensure the toe and heel lug have been routered down to ISO 5355 standards. You can use the SVST router kit to do this!
The most typical cant is a “medial wedge.” A medial wedge is thicker on the medial side and wedging up the medial side of the foot. In skiing lingo, this is the “inside edge,” AKA the big toe side.
The opposite wedge is called a “lateral wedge.” So, when stipulating a wedge, you must also name the Right or Left boot. A medial wedge on a right, if applied to a left, becomes a lateral wedge.
SVST part number RPSR (followed by a # indicating degree of cant) is a Medial wedge for the Right Boot. Use this part # if you want a Lateral wedge of the Left Boot.
SVST part number RPSL (followed by a # indicating degree of cant) is a Medial Wedge for the Left Boot. Use this part # if you want a Lateral wedge of the Right Boot.
