Dense foam heel lifts, 3/8 inch, sold in pairs — for raising the heel inside a boot.
Two reasons to do that. A lift can improve heel hold in a boot that is slightly too tall in the heel pocket, and it changes the ramp angle, moving a skier forward if they are sitting back in the boot.
- 3/8" dense foam, sold in pairs
- Holds shape under pressure
- Waterproof and mildew resistant
- Trims to any boot size with standard workshop tools
Dense foam rather than soft. Soft foam compresses under body weight and the lift you measured on the bench is not the lift the skier gets. Dense foam keeps its dimension, which is the whole requirement.
Change ramp angle in small steps. Moving a skier forward alters where they balance, and 3/8 inch is a lot — it is common to trim a lift down rather than use it full thickness. Change one thing at a time and ski on it before adjusting further.
Waterproof matters: anything inside a boot gets damp, and foam that absorbs water compresses, smells and breaks down.

Awesome boot heel lifts
The heel lifts are well made, easy to trim and install. Significant improvement in fit, allowing me to no longer crank the buckles down.
