This is shop equipment, not a home tool. A boot press is what lets a fitter push a shell out at a specific point — over a bunion, a navicular, a sixth toe — instead of grinding the liner or telling a racer to suffer. For a shop tuning boots all season, it is the difference between solving a fit problem and working around it.
The upgrade here is the articulating arms: the upper and lower control arms swing left and right, so you can reach through the bend of the boot rather than fighting the cuff. Anyone who has tried to press a lower shell on a fixed-arm press knows how much that matters on a stiff race boot.
- Articulating upper and lower arms for access through the boot's bend
- Deep extensions for toe access
- Micro-adjustable pressure control
- Two-way adjustable lower arm for full inner-boot access
- Built for back-shop use, on the same frame we have sold for years
- Seven attachments included: oval ring, large ring, small ring, football shape, mushroom ball, large ball, small ball
The seven dies cover the shapes that come up most: rings for spreading a broad area, the football and mushroom for a defined point, the balls for precise work. Having the right shape matters more than pressure — the wrong die spreads the push over too much shell and moves nothing.
See the rest of our boot fitting supplies, or call and we will talk through whether a press is the right addition to your bench.
