Lint-free is the entire specification. Ordinary paper towel sheds fibres into the base structure, which is exactly what you have just spent twenty minutes brushing clear. Fiberlene leaves nothing behind.
It has three jobs on a bench: wiping a base after cleaner, polishing after brushing, and acting as a barrier under the iron when applying hard cold waxes — the wax melts through the paper and spreads more evenly while the base sees gentler, better-distributed heat.
40 m or 20 m? A 40 m roll suits a shop, a team room or anyone tuning several pairs a week. The 20 m roll is the home size and easier to store.
