Leki's junior race glove, built with the same protection package as the adult WCR Venom rather than a cut-down version of it. A young slalom racer takes the same gate hits as an adult with less body mass behind them, so the padding is not a luxury.
- Premium goat leather with water-resistant micro Bemberg lining
- Pre-curved junior race fit with flex mapping
- Speed panel knuckle protection
- Ceramic-reinforced 3D silicone finger and thumb padding with silicone surround cushions
- Trigger system compatible
Glove or mitten? A glove gives better pole feel and separate finger movement, which helps a junior learning to handle a pole properly. A mitten is warmer. If your athlete's hands get cold, warmth wins — a racer thinking about their fingers is not thinking about the course.
Fit snugly, and resist buying a size up. A glove with growing room puts the knuckle armour off the strike point and leaves air the hand has to heat. It should be close without restricting a fist around the grip.
Confirm your poles are Trigger-compatible before ordering — on other poles the click-in feature is unusable.
