The zygomatic covers are the distinguishing feature. They extend protection over the cheekbone — the area a gate or a fall on hard snow finds first, and the part of the face that suffers most from wind chill at speed. For downhill and Super-G that is a real consideration, not a styling detail.
Outriggers matter if you wear a POC helmet. They let the frame sit closer, which closes the gap at the forehead that makes a goggle-helmet combination cold and fogs lenses. If you wear a different brand of helmet, bring it in and we will check the fit — frame shape and helmet shape have to agree.
Face size: this is the standard fit. For a smaller face, the Nexal MID is the same goggle on a smaller frame.
