Sale Gloves, Mitts, Armor, & Protection

Discounted gloves, mittens, shin and arm guards and body armor. Protection is a good thing to buy on sale, because it wears out through use rather than going out of date: a shin guard from two seasons ago protects exactly as well as this year's.

The exception is helmets and anything that has taken an impact. Armor that has been hit hard should be replaced rather than passed down, and a helmet with an unknown history is not worth the saving.

Fit still decides whether it works. A guard that rotates around the leg or a glove with armor sitting off the knuckle protects nothing, so size it properly even at a discount.
