Waterproof adhesive for binding screws. It does two jobs at once: seals the hole against water, and stops screws backing out under load.

The sealing matters more than most people realise. A mounting screw makes a hole straight into the ski's core, and water that gets past it freezes, expands and delaminates the ski from the inside. The damage is invisible until the ski starts to soften.

Use it on every screw, every mount. A small amount in the hole before the screw goes in — not on the threads afterwards, which does nothing for the seal.

And fill the old holes. A remount on a different pattern leaves the previous holes open, which is the same problem with none of the protection. Hole plugs plus glue is the correct fix, and it is the step most often skipped.
