Drill bits sized for alpine binding screws, made to work with manufacturers' mounting jigs.
Bit diameter and depth are not a matter of judgement in ski mounting. Too narrow and the screw splits the core or snaps; too wide and it strips and pulls out under load — which is a binding release failure, not an inconvenience. Correct bits are the cheapest part of getting this right.

Depth control matters as much as diameter. Drilling through the core into the base ruins the ski. Bits for ski mounting are made to a specific length for that reason, and a depth stop is not optional.
This is professional tooling. Mounting race bindings involves the jig, the correct bits, glue, correct torque and a release check afterwards. We do it in the shop in Boise, and for race gear it is worth having done properly.
