The coldest wax in the Ultra line, for air temperatures of −10°F to 5°F. Cold snow is sharp and abrasive rather than wet, so a cold wax is hard — it resists being torn out of the base by crystals that behave more like sand than water.

Legal for competition. This is a fluorocarbon-free hydrocarbon wax, so it complies with the US Ski & Snowboard prohibition on fluoro products in sanctioned events.
If you are between two colours, take the colder one. A wax that is too hard is slightly slow; one that is too soft picks up dirt and is considerably slower.
