A spray-on glide wax that goes on without an iron — and, importantly, is fluoro-free, so it is legal under the US Ski & Snowboard prohibition on fluorocarbon waxes in sanctioned competition.

Where a liquid earns its place: a refresh between runs, a top-up at the hill, and travel where a bench and iron are not practical. Spray on, let it dry, buff out — a few minutes rather than an evening.
It is not a substitute for hot waxing. Liquid sits on the surface rather than soaking into the structure, so it lasts runs rather than days, and on a dry unprepared base there is little for it to bond to. Saturate the base properly with hot wax, then use this to maintain between tunes.
Buff it properly once dry. Unbuffed liquid wax is draggy, which is the usual reason someone concludes liquids do not work.
