POC Maxilla Breakaway Chin Guard Black
The POC Maxilla Breakaway Chin Guard in black adds slalom face protection to compatible POC race helmets. It detaches when you need it off and is designed to break away on impact, giving racers both safety and versatility.
Features
- Detachable, breakaway design for improved safety
- Adjustable fit to match your helmet
- Compatible with a range of POC race helmets
- Black finish, built for alpine racing environments
Compatibility
Confirm your POC helmet model is compatible before ordering, then adjust the fit so the guard sits securely without touching your face. Inspect it after hard impacts and replace it if damaged.
Match Your Helmet
The black version gives a clean, understated look that matches most helmet colors and team setups. Functionally it offers the same detachable, breakaway protection racers rely on for slalom. Mount it for gate training and races, and take it off in seconds for freeskiing or GS days.
Pairs Well With
- POC Maxilla Breakaway Chin Guard: the original color
- POC Artic SL MIPS helmet: a POC slalom helmet
- POC Junior Forearm Guards: protection for young racers
Complete your race setup with chin guards, POC ski helmets, and body armor.
