Fantastic
Fantastic product that is head and shoulders better than any files available from a big box store. Cuts beautifully for sharpening several axes I’m in the process of restoring and is a high-quality product. Shipping was quick with no issues and status updates were quick and efficient. Overall very happy with this purchase for my intended uses and will purchase from this retailer in the future if I need additional or replacement sizes. Thank you!

SVST Superchrome File 10"
Great file! Much sharper and easier to use well than any hardware store file. Cuts quickly and smoothly. I've used mine to sharpen axes and file spines of knives. Highly recommended!

SVST Superchrome File 10"
After watching video Beginner's Guide to File Sharpening an Axe (YouTube channel Bushcraft Sisyphus), I bought this file to replace an old, ineffective no-name brand file. This is an extraordinarily sharp file. I was able to put a wicked sharp edge on my splitting axe in no time. I also was able to quickly restore the edge on a garage sale splitting maul that had evidently been abused by someone who must have thought it was a tool for busting up concrete. At $20, this is a pricey file compared to those available in hardware stores, but worth every penny.
