A cold-weather hydrocarbon that earns its place on artificial snow, which is a different surface from natural snow and harder on wax.
Man-made snow is made of blunter, more angular crystals with a higher water content, and it is abrasive in a way fresh natural snow is not. A harder wax resists being torn out of the base by it — which matters at Bogus Basin in November and December, and at any race on an injected course.

Fluoro-free means race-legal under the US Ski & Snowboard ban on fluorocarbon waxes in sanctioned competition.
Hard waxes need a prepared base. A cold wax on a dry base has little to hold onto — run cycles of BP77 first on anything new or neglected.
