A fine nylon oval brush made specifically for finishing liquid waxes, which behave differently from ironed-in bar wax and need a different brush.
Liquid wax dries as a thin surface layer rather than soaking into the structure. It needs polishing out rather than clearing out — a coarse brush would simply strip it off the base you just applied it to.

Buffing is not optional with liquids. Unbuffed liquid wax is draggy, and that is the usual reason someone tries a liquid and concludes it does not work. The polish is what makes it fast.
Keep it for liquids. Brushes hold residue, and one used on soft bar wax will carry that into a liquid application.
