For Edge Repair
Edge replacement is an advanced repair best done by an experienced technician. Secure the new section with edge screws and a #0 Phillips screwdriver, then file and bevel to match the rest of the edge.
When an Edge Needs Replacing
Rocks and rails can crack or rip out a section of edge, and at that point sharpening will not fix it. Replacing the damaged section with new steel restores the ski's grip and extends its life. Edge replacement is detailed work usually done by experienced shop technicians.
