SVST 7mm Nylon Roto Brush - 90mm

Nylon is the finishing brush — the last thing to touch the base, polishing the surface after the coarser brushes have done the clearing.

It is also the sensible choice if you are only going to own one roto brush and are mostly maintaining rather than preparing bases. A nylon brush will not open structure the way brass does, but it removes surface wax and leaves a clean finish.

The full sequence runs brass to open the structure, horsehair to clear the wax, then nylon to polish. Each takes less material off than the last, and skipping to nylon polishes over wax that should have come out.

Check your handle width. This is 90 mm; 150 mm handles need the wider brushes.

Moderate drill speed, light pressure, and keep the tool moving across the base — heat from a stationary roto brush damages a base quickly.
