SVST Oval Bonze - Horsehair Combi Brush

Two brushes in one block: stiff bronze bristles through the middle for cold-weather structuring, with a soft horsehair perimeter for anti-static finishing.

The combination saves a tool swap in the middle of a job. Bronze opens the structure and takes off the bulk of the wax; the horsehair edge clears the fine residue without generating the static that holds dust against a base.

Where a combi brush helps: travelling, and pre-wax preparation where you want to open a base and clean it without carrying a full brush set. It is not a replacement for a full coarse-to-fine sequence on a race-day tune, but it covers most of a training-night job.

Technique: tip to tail, one direction, light pressure and many passes. Leaning on a brush wears bristles without clearing more wax — the bristle tips do the work, not the force behind them.

Keep separate brushes for warm and cold waxes if you can; brushes hold residue and a brush used on soft wax will contaminate a cold-snow job.
