As with the 90 mm handle, the point is that every component is replaceable: grip, shaft, bearings and the brushed aluminium shield. Bearings are what fail on a roto handle, and replacing a bearing rather than a tool is what makes this a long-term purchase.

Choose your width once and stay with it. 150 mm brushes do not fit a 90 mm handle and vice versa, so the handle decision commits your whole brush set. 150 mm suits a shop or a team room; 90 mm is easier to control on a home bench and asks less of the drill.
