SVST 6mm Horsehair Roto Brush - 90mm

The narrower width is not a compromise. It suits a smaller roto handle, takes less torque from the drill, and is easier to control on a home bench where you are working on one pair rather than a team's worth.

Width is a handle question, not a quality one. Check what your roto handle takes — 90 mm and 150 mm are both common and they do not fit each other. The 150 mm version covers a base in fewer passes; the 90 mm is easier to manage.

In the brushing sequence, horsehair sits in the middle: brass opens the structure, horsehair clears the wax, nylon polishes. It is the brush that does most of the work, and the one to own first.
