A soft nylon brush for the second half of the job — continuing wax removal after the coarse work and starting the polish.
Soft nylon suits every wax type and hardness, which is what makes it the most generally useful brush to own. It will not open structure the way brass does, and it will not cut, so it is difficult to do damage with.

Where it sits: after scraping and after a coarser brush has cleared the bulk. If you own two hand brushes, own a brass and a soft nylon — that pair covers cleaning before wax and finishing after it.
For a stiffer nylon, which does more of the initial wax removal, see the medium-stiff blue nylon. The two are not interchangeable: stiff for clearing, soft for finishing.
Nylon does generate some static, so on a race-day finish a horsehair brush leaves a cleaner base.

As like every item you can purchase from SVST it’s exceptional. I use this as a finale step in preparing the ski base for use. Polishing.

Medium Bristle Nylon Brush - Okay
I thought the bristles of this brush would be a touch stiffer. I'm fairly new to alpine ski tuning and bought the stiff nylon blue brush (great), this medium stiffness brush (it's okay) and the horseshair (great).
